Join our client's team at the forefront of the self-storage industry in Hong Kong. We're seeking an experienced Accountant for a role based in Hong Kong. This role plays an integral part in supporting financial reporting processes at the country level and driving the growth of the business operations in Hong Kong.
 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Finance Manager in consolidating monthly and annual financial reports for Hong Kong
  • Oversee and review the work of external service providers on tasks such as full sets of accounts, tax reporting, year-end statutory reporting, and compliance with Hong Kong regulations
  • Conduct monthly profit and loss, balance sheet, and operational analyses
  • Perform monthly closing activities, cash flow forecasting, and management reporting
  • Participate in digitalisation initiatives and system enhancement projects
  • Support property valuation, treasury, insurance matters, and other management reporting duties
  • Manage the annual budgeting process, including planning, monitoring, and control
  • Develop and implement internal controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Liaise with external auditors to prepare consolidated statutory reports
  • Coordinate with company secretarial teams and bankers on corporate and banking matters, such as bank mandates, facilities, and covenants
  • Work with tax agents on tax queries and computations to ensure compliance
  • Ensure adherence to statutory regulations and additional organizational requirements
  • Handle administrative tasks and ad hoc duties as assigned by management

  Qualifications and Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in full sets of accounts or a similar role, with supervisory responsibilities
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Banking, and professional certifications such as ACCA or CPA are highly preferred
