Our client is a leading global offshore corporate services provider.
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Manager/Senior Manager for the Business Development team in the fiduciary and corporate services industry. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving market growth in the Greater China region.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities by promoting a full range of fiduciary and corporate services to clients across industries such as asset management, banking, investment funds, securities, private wealth, legal, and corporate services.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of clients, leveraging expertise to pitch services related to offshore investment fund and trust formation, as well as offshore structuring for IPOs and M&A transactions.
- Collaborate with senior team members to prepare proposals, draft engagement letters, and oversee client communications to ensure seamless handover to the fiduciary team.
- Develop and implement tailored business development strategies for key locations such as Beijing, Hong Kong, and Shanghai, mapping out long-term growth opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams, including operations and compliance, to align business development initiatives with organizational goals.
- Represent the company in seminars, meetings, and networking events to enhance market visibility and client engagement.
- Participate in cross-selling and upselling opportunities, contributing to the growth and expansion of services across various jurisdictions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above with at least 5 years of experience in a business development or client-facing role within the corporate services or related industry.
- Proven track record of success in business development, managing client portfolios, and achieving revenue growth targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin (Putonghua).
- Strong understanding of offshore corporate structures, compliance regulations, and AML requirements.
- Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
