Our client is a leading independent fund administration company in Singapore, providing comprehensive fund services to alternative investment managers across Asia Pacific. With a strong track record in servicing hedge funds, private equity, and crypto funds, they are currently looking for a Head of Funds to lead the Fund Accounting team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to work with a diverse portfolio of clients while leading and developing a team of fund accountants.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of Fund Accountants in delivering NAV calculations and financial reporting
- Drive client relationship management and ensure service excellence
- Oversee fund accounting operations including NAV calculations, financial statements, and regulatory reporting
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Supervise investor due diligence, KYC processes, and external audit coordination
- Develop and mentor team members to achieve operational excellence
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/CFA preferred)
- Minimum 7 years' experience in fund administration or similar roles
- Strong background in hedge fund and private equity fund accounting
- Proven team leadership and people management skills
- Deep understanding of fund structures and regulatory frameworks
- Experience with fund accounting systems and financial reporting tools
- Excellence in stakeholder management and communication
- Ability to perform under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
